The latest report from Italy has revealed that two Liverpool players have agreed to move to Serie A side Napoli.
Liverpool have been busy in the market so far, bringing in Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi.
There are also reliable reports that they have agreed deals for Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz, who are set to sign in the coming days after completing their medicals.
But Liverpool’s summer business will not be only about new arrivals.
A few players are expected to leave the club as Arne Slot balances building a competitive squad and a balanced and not overloaded team.
As things stand, several Liverpool players, apart from a few of the current first-team stars, have been linked with a summer transfer.
While a few of them are exaggerated interest from other clubs, a few others are genuine potential departures.
Andy Robertson, Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa, Kostas Tsimikas, Harvey Elliott, Tyler Morton, Diogo Jota, Jarell Quansah and Luis Diaz have serious interest from other clubs.
Among all these, Nunez and Chiesa appear to have made up their minds to leave.
The duo are attracting serious interest from several clubs, including Napoli.
According to the latest report from Italy, they have already said yes to the league Reds, awaiting an official bid and agreement between Liverpool and the Serie A champions
“Chiesa and Nunez have already said yes to Napoli, this is the news I can give you, and it refers to the very last hours of the transfer market,” Italian journalist Gerardo Fasano told AreaNapoli.
However, the journalist sensationally claimed that Victor Osimhen has been included in a possible swap deal?
So there is a delay in the deal because the Nigerian has not said yes to Liverpool.
“What is missing to conclude the deal?
Victor Osimhen’s yes has not yet been given,” Fasano added.
“Furthermore, both Napoli and Liverpool are working on defining the details regarding the costs of the players’ registration cards”.
