From Aaron Ramsey's sublime flick against Fulham to Andros Townsend's stunner at the Etihad Stadium... the Premier League reveal 10 nominations for Goal of the Season awardThere are ten nominations for the Premier League Goal of the Season awardAaron Ramsey's sublime piece of skill away to Fulham finds itself on the shortlistVincent Kompany's rocket against Leicester caps off the choices for fans to pick

The Premier League has announced a 10-goal shortlist for its annual Goal of the Season award.

Strikes ranging from Daniel Sturridge's crucial late equaliser against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in September to Vincent Kompany's rocket against Leicester City more recently at the Etihad Stadium.

Fan votes will be combined with those made by a panel of experts and supporters have until 17.00 on Friday, May 17 to cast their vote for the strike they feel is the pick of the bunch.

JEAN MICHAEL SERI

Fulham 4-2 Burnley, August 26

When Jean Michael Seri scored with his first shot on target, Fulham fans would have been right to have got a bit excited about what was to come.

Ultimately the signing did not work out as hoped but nobody could take away his sublime strike from outside the area in a six-goal thriller at home to Burnley back in August.

DANIEL STURRIDGE

Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool, September 29

This stunner from distance was massive, even at such an early stage in the season.

The Liverpool striker picked his head up before taking aim with what looked to be a speculative effort.

It arrowed at goal with deadly precision and it sparked wild scenes in the way end as a full stretch Kepa Arrizabalaga was beaten.

AARON RAMSEY

Fulham 1-5 Arsenal, October 7

To some Arsenal fans it was obvious, but after Aaron Ramsey flicked in with ease in the rout against Fulham, many were left scratching their heads as to why he was being allowed to walk out of the door on a free to Juventus.

SON HEUNG-MIN

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Chelsea, November 24

The South Korean has had a sublime year where he left opposition markers for dust with his pace and power in Tottenham's attack.

Those assets were shown off in all their glory against bitter rivals Chelsea back in November when he did brilliantly to turn a long forward pass from Dele Alli into a meaningful chance.

He burst past a back-tracking Jorginho to cut in from the right wing, embarrassed David Luiz with a slalom into the area before finessing a left-footed strike past a helpless Kepa.

Son Heung-min enjoyed a spectacular season and get rave reviews for his goal in November

ANDROS TOWNSEND

Manchester City 2-3 Crystal Palace, December 22

Words do not really do this goal justice. Simply file this one under 'thunderbolt', please.

City struggle to clear their lines following an outswinging Palace free-kick and David Silva thinks he has done enough with a firm header away on the edge of his own area.

But primed and ready is Townsend who, with no time to think, unleashes a stunning strike on the volley which rifles past Ederson and into the top corner. Both the goal and the result - which felt huge at the time in the title race - had City fans speechless.

ANDRE SCHURRLE

Burnley 2-1 Fulham, January 12

This was a strike that just oozed class from a player with quality far superior to many of those around him.

World Cup winner Andre Schurrle beat the offside trap to meet a long ball over the top, he traps it from the air brilliantly before firing a strike on the half-volley into the far corner.

Those inside Turf Moor will be waiting a long time to see a better goal than that in Lancashire.

FABIAN SCHAR

Newcastle United 2-0 Burnley, February 26

ANTHONY KNOCKAERT

Crystal Palace 1-2 Brighton & Hove Albion, March 9

Anthony Knockaert pulled his tongue out in celebration but his goal was in vain against Palace

EDEN HAZARD

Chelsea 2-0 West Ham United, April 8

Eden Hazard was at his mercurial best when he danced through West Ham to score a stunner

VINCENT KOMPANY

Manchester City 1-0 Leicester City, May 6

Vincent Kompany scored a thunderbolt which was vital as City chased down successive titles
