Fulham fans have reacted in unison to a surprise update regarding Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund.
The Red Devils have reshaped their attack this summer, bringing in Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo after the side finished the season having the fifth least goals scored last term.
Those signings have left Hojlund in a more uncertain position, with the striker slipping down the pecking order.
Football Insider has reported that Hojlund could leave Man United this summer, with the club open to a permanent deal but also considering a loan move.
Meanwhile, Fulham have been in search of a striker all summer, with Rodrigo Muniz close to joining Atalanta and now, the latest update regarding Hojlund has sparked excitement among Fulham supporters on social media.

Simon Jones of the Daily Mail reported on 14 August that Fulham are the latest club to show “tentative interest” in United striker Hojlund.
The Cottagers are considering a move for the Dane as a potential replacement for Muniz, but, they added that “Fulham would need to know Hojlund wants to come” before making a formal offer.
For now, the striker is backing himself to still make an impact in Ruben Amorim’s squad.

This comes after Football Insider reported that Hojlund does not want to leave Man United despite the arrival of Sesko, with the new signing expected to line up as the club’s starting striker.
The Danish forward has struggled for consistency since his £72 million move, finishing last season with just four Premier League goals and a single assist, but that seems to have not deterred Fulham.

It has been a quiet summer transfer window for Fulham, with back-up goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte the club’s only signing so far.
While Fulham have had bids rejected for Brazilian winger Kevin and remain in talks with Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, no other arrivals have been confirmed.
Now, with Muniz edging closer to an exit, fans have reacted with excitement to the possibility of replacing him with United outcast Hojlund, despite his poor record in the league.
One fan responded to the news by saying: “Would take him in a heartbeat” while another added: “This would work!
