Fulham have been offered a major boost in their pursuit of Oleksandr Zinchenko following the latest update out of Arsenal.
The Cottagers currently boast one of the best left-backs in the Premier League in Antonee Robinson, who has registered 16 top-flight assists since the start of the 2023/24 season.
However, the US international’s form has seen him regularly linked with a move away from Craven Cottage — including being sounded out as an ideal fit for Manchester United.
With that in mind, it’s no surprise to see Fulham linked with someone like Zinchenko as they prepare for the possibility of life without Robinson.

Zinchenko has made 91 appearances across all competitions since joining Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022.
However, the Ukraine international has fallen down the pecking order in recent seasons, leading to him playing just 522 minutes of Premier League football across 15 appearances in 2024/25.
Zinchenko is entering the final year of his contract, but despite his lack of playing time, The Athletic report [August 12] that the player is happy to warm the bench at the Emirates and run down his contract.

But Arsenal seem to have very different ideas, with the Gunners seeking out buyers in order to recoup a fee for the defender — who can also play central midfield.
Arsenal may have to drop their asking price for Zinchenko, with the 13-time English champions previously understood to be demanding £15million for the 28-year-old.
But their willingness to sell will give Fulham hope that they can negotiate that price down, especially as we head later into the summer transfer window — which is effectively Arsenal’s last chance to make significant money from Zinchenko’s sale.

While Fulham will hope to negotiate a cheaper fee for Zinchenko, they appear to be allowing no such concessions when it comes to Rodrigo Muniz.
The Brazilian striker netted 11 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions last season — including eight in 31 Premier League outings.
But Muniz has now been attracting the attention of Atalanta and Leeds United.
Marco Silva is already on the lookout for a No.9, so he will be in no mood to lose Muniz cheaply.
Indeed, it’s emerged that the Cottagers have already rejected a £34.5m offer from Atalanta for the 24-year-old striker, demanding a price of £43.1m.
Both Atalanta and Leeds are desperate for new options up top, with the former selling 2024/25 Serie A top scorer Mateo Retegui to Saudi side Al-Qadsiah, and the latter lacking a Premier League-experienced striker following their promotion back out of the Championship.
At least in the case of Leeds, Fulham may feel like they can fend off interest, with the Whites also interested in Everton’s Beto.
