Fulham are exploring three new signings by the transfer cut-off but face a race against time to get the deals done, sources have told Football Insider.

Following the Cottagers’ 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday (24 August), Marco Silva revealed that he needs at least three more additions to his squad this summer.

The eest London side are in the market for a striker, a winger, and a central midfielder to bolster their ranks.

However, sources say that Fulham have their work cut out for them in terms of making the necessary additions to please their Portuguese manager before the transfer deadline.

It has been an incredibly quiet window for Fulham so far, only making one signing, as Benjamin Lecomte made the move from Montpellier to Craven Cottage.

While they haven’t managed to add as many players as they would’ve liked, Silva’s side have at least retained most of their key men.

It hasn’t been without challenge though, with Fulham rejecting multiple bids for Rodrigo Muniz from Atalanta, as well as staving off interest from Leeds United.

Meanwhile, Chelsea may reportedly be willing to help their rivals Fulham in order to offload Raheem Sterling this summer.

That is the view of football finance expert Dan Plumley, who claims that if the winger wants to remain in London, the Blues may have to take a hit financially to give him what he wants.

Sterling has interest from Fulham, although the Cottagers are in the market for several different options in wide areas.

The Englishman is not in Chelsea‘s plans this season and was not involved in any of the club’s pre-season games, or either of their two opening matches of the 2025/26 season.
