Fulham took an early lead away at Villa Park during the early kick-off on Sunday, but Marco Silva will still be disappointed.
Fulham beat Brentford 3-1, but the mood around Craven Cottage was dampened when it was announced Rodrigo Muniz would miss their trip to Aston Villa.
Muniz is currently sidelined with an injury, and Silva’s squad looks light at the number nine position early in the season.

Fulham took the lead three minutes into the match against Aston Villa thanks to a well-placed header from Raul Jimenez.

In the ensuing celebrations, it appeared Jimenez had injured his right hip going off through an injury to that area less than 10 minutes into the match.
Jimenez will now join Muniz on the injury list, and Silva is without a recognised striker, having to replace the Mexican with winger Adama Traore.
Fulham’s biggest success story has been youth product Josh King, who has lit up highlight reels in the early part of this campaign.
