After the busiest of summers for Liverpool, the transfer window is now officially closed - and what a window it has been for the Reds.
Arne Slot’s side had already broken the Premier League’s transfer record once before deadline day following the signing of Florian Wirtz, but that record already looks to have been smashed as Alexander Isak finally makes his way to Anfield.
The striker has been on Merseyside to undergo his medical ahead of completing a $169 million transfer to the Reds as the summer’s biggest and most dramatic saga finally comes to an end, with Liverpool getting its man.

And that might not be the only deal that gets done on deadline day
Although the window is now shut, there will be time for deals to be finalized, and the Reds will be hopeful of getting Marc Guehi across the line.
A $47M deal was agreed with Crystal Palace earlier today, with the defender undergoing a medical in London ahead of the proposed move, although a late twist with just a couple of hours remaining in the window has thrown the deal into major doubt.
Whether or not Liverpool does land Guehi, the Reds can be more than happy with the business done this summer by Richard Hughes, who has certainly kept himself busy.

Seven signings were confirmed ahead of deadline day, not including goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who completed his move from Valencia after a deal was agreed last year.
And the Reds have seen plenty of departures as well, with eight players exiting permanently, while another three have left on loan.
Having already made a perfect start to its title defense, with Sunday's 1-0 win over Arsenal sending a huge message to its rivals, Liverpool will now be hoping its new-look squad can carry it to back-to-back crowns, and hopefully more silverware along the way.
