When Liverpool sent Fábio Carvalho out on loan to RB Leipzig, it felt like a good move for all parties.
Carvalho has scored nine goals and assisted twice since going back to the second tier, and while there are still question marks over whether those numbers can translate to the Premier League, there are a couple of reasons to think he might get some chances next season.

"We’ll see what happens," the former Fulham ace told the Liverpool ECHO recently.
Really grasp it and take it with both hands."
Carvalho and Morton, another Liverpool midfielder on loan at Hull, have both spoken about what might happen at Anfield with Jürgen Klopp leaving and Arne Slot coming in.
Under Slot, there will be a clean slate for all players and a fresh start for those who didn't necessarily fit into the Klopp system perfectly.
While the Slot style is not completely different from what has gone before, it is likely that those who haven't played as much will want to make the most of any new opportunity.
Under Klopp, it was always hard to see where Carvalho would fit in, even if the suggestions that the pair didn't see eye to eye were quickly corrected.
There might be a slightly different set-up that could suit Carvalho slightly more, and the expanded Champions League competition will mean two additional matches.
Given the number of injuries that Liverpool has had this season, more rotation of the squad would probably be no bad thing and the return to the Champions League will offer a new challenge.
