Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes sent a brutal dig to Tottenham striker and Brazilian compatriot Richarlison after their recent clash.
Arsenal and Spurs met in the first-ever North London derby played on foreign soil, with Pape Matar Sarr’s stunning long-range strike securing a 1-0 win for Thomas Frank’s side.
One of the biggest talking points from the pre-season friendly came when Spurs full-back Pedro Porro clashed with Mikel Arteta, appearing to push the Arsenal boss back into his technical area during a heated moment on the touchline.
Following the match, Richarlison took the opportunity to fire a cheeky shot at Gabriel, tagging the Arsenal defender in a post on Instagram while posing with his Man of the Match award.
Gabriel, who didn’t feature in the match, has now responded in equally playful fashion, showing that the rivalry between the two clubs remains as fierce as ever, even in pre-season.
In response to Richarlison’s subtle dig following Tottenham’s pre-season win, Gabriel hit back with a light-hearted reminder of his own success in the North London derby.

The Arsenal defender took to Instagram to share a story featuring three of his Player of the Match awards, all earned during victories over Spurs.
He tagged Richarlison in the post, playfully underlining his impact in recent derby fixtures.
Gabriel scored in both North London derbies last season, playing a key role in Arsenal completing a league double over their fierce rivals.
He didn’t feature in the recent pre-season clash as Gabriel is still nursing a hamstring injury sustained in April that also ruled him out of high-profile matches against Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite speculation over his future earlier in the year, Gabriel signed a new contract with Arsenal this summer and is expected to return for competitive action for the start of the season, where he will hope the side can perform better than they did against Tottenham.

As pre-season continues, the club have been working to strengthen their youth ranks, but appear set to miss out on one of their top academy targets.
Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Salford City youngster Will Wright after reaching an agreement with the side.
Arsenal had also agreed a deal with Salford for Wright after entering the race for the teenager, but it’s understood that that he has opted for a move to Anfield instead of heading to North London.
The Gunners have already bolstered their senior squad with the arrival of Viktor Gyokeres, and are now expected to continue their search for emerging talent following this setback in the academy market.
