Mohamed Salah showed his appreciation to BBC's Match of Day host and England legend Gary Lineker over his congratulations for winning the Football Writers' Association (FWA) Football of the Year award.
Results were confirmed on Friday with the Liverpool winger taking 90 percent of 918 votes.
In doing so Salah equals Thierry Henry's record of having collected the men's prize three times in his career, following wins in his 2017/18 debut campaign with the Reds and again in 2021/22.
Becoming a Premier League champion in 2024/25, the Egyptian has scored 33 and assisted 23 in all competitions.
Lineker followed with a kind message the victor, writing to his Instagram story: "90 percent of the vote.
Incredible season from the great @mosalah [two clapping emojis]."

Salah reposted this for his 64.8 million followers to see in a true symbol of talent recognising talent.
Lineker, at the peak of his powers in late 80s and early 90s as a striker in his playing days, collected the same award himself in the 1985/86 and 1991/92 campaigns.
The former was won whilst playing for Everton with 38 goals scored in 53 outings that year, with two scored against Liverpool.
His message to Salah is one that transcends the 132-year rivalry between the Merseyside clubs.

As he prepares to depart Match of the Day hosting duties at the end of the current season following a 26-year, Lineker has also voiced divisive opinions in recent years that have landed him in hot water, but here his assessment of Salah can hardly be disputed.
Despite leaving his regular role the 64-year-old is set to stay on hosting live football coverage for the BBC in the 2025/26, through to the 2026 World Cup.
He is also active in the media sphere with his company, Goalhanger Podcasts, and is a manager of one of the teams in the recently established Baller League.
On Salah, FWA chair John Cross said: "Rarely has there been a more popular winner than Mo.
His overwhelming victory is just a reflection of an incredible season.
"He continues to rewrite the record books and his performances this season have obviously been key to Liverpool’s 20th title.
"It’s been a privilege watching him this season and it will be a privilege to welcome him to our dinner to celebrate his success."

Second to Salah was his captain, Virgil van Dijk, and close behind was a striker who has been linked with a switch to Anfield ahead of the summer, Newcastle United's Alexander Isak.
