Gary Lineker has reacted to the latest update shared by fellow Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy after the striker joined Serie A club Cremonese.
After scoring nine goals in the Premier League last season, Vardy completed his move to Cremonese on a free transfer.
The former England forward established iconic status at Leicester by firing them to the Premier League title in 2016 and FA Cup glory in 2021.
Meanwhile, after Vardy joined Serie A new boys Cremonese, the 38-year-old is set to play outside of England for the first time in his career.

After the Foxes’ relegation to the Championship, Bilal El Khannouss left Leicester to join German side VFB Stuttgart.
The attacking midfielder scored three goals and produced five assists last term, but it wasn’t enough to keep the East Midlands club in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Vardy had attracted transfer interest from Celtic, but opted to join the Italian top flight rather than the Scottish Premiership.

Vardy’s decision to leave Leicester after notching a remarkable return of 200 goals in 500 appearances for the Foxes proved his appetite to continue competing in a top-flight league, rather than dropping to the Championship with his former club.

The former England striker proved how clinical he can be in the second tier when he fired the King Power Stadium outfit back to the Premier League in a successful 2023/24 season.
Meanwhile, Vardy’s return of 10 goals and four assists across all competitions last term proved that he could have performed even better for a side who were not fighting relegation.
The 38-year-old’s move to Cremonese will see him face European giants like Inter, Juventus, AC Milan, and defending Serie A champions Napoli.
Furthermore, Vardy’s experience with the Foxes makes him an asset for a newly promoted side who must avoid an unwanted return to the second tier of Italian football.
