Former Manchester United defender and now Sky Sports pundit, Gary Neville, has admitted that Liverpool winger Sadio Mane is the player he’d least like to face nowadays.

As well as suggesting Trent Alexander-Arnold could be the best right-back in the world, Neville answered bluntly when asked who he thought his hardest opponent would be in the current PL spectre.

And as much as it might pain him to pick a Liverpool player, it’s clear just how well-respected Mane is in the Premier League.

It would certainly be interesting to watch Neville try and handle Mane.

Mane, meanwhile, continues to be brilliant, although Liverpool have dropped off as late.

Above all else, this will please Neville’s good mate Jamie Carragher, who’ll be delighted to see Neville running scared of the Reds star.

Neville, who played countless times in the Premier League and faced some of the very best in world football, made the admission during an open Q&A session on his Twitter account today.
