The Reds began the campaign with a 4-2 victory at home to Bournemouth in the Friday Night Football last week as they began their title defence in style.
Goals from Hugo Ekitike, Cody Gakpo, Federico Chiesa and Mohamed Salah secured the victory for Liverpool.
The Reds were level at 2-2 in the 88th minute before goals from Chiesa and Salah secured the three points at Anfield.
Arne Slot handed Premier League debuts to four of Liverpool's summer signings in the win over the Cherries.
Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz all started their first top-flight match for the Reds against Bournemouth, and two of them caught Neville's attention.

The former Manchester United defender has given his verdict on the performance from Liverpool's two full-backs, Frimpong and Kerkez.
Slot substituted both players on the hour mark during the win over Bournemouth, with the Reds leading 2-0 at the time before an Antoine Semenyo brace.
"I think the full-backs will need to settle down a little bit defensively," said Neville on the Sky Sports Gary Neville podcast.

"Kerkez was quite rash, it’s understandable, it’s his first game at Anfield.
Frimpong, I thought he was doing quite well, but he got substituted.
"So, there are some questions for Liverpool in respect of the defensive side of their game and the balance in midfield."
Liverpool's next match will see them travel to face Newcastle United in the Monday Night Football next week in their first away match of the season.
Slot could start both Kerkez and Frimpong in the fixture once again, and will also hope to have Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas available at left-back, while Conor Bradley is yet to return from an injury he suffered during pre-season.
