Gary Neville has been told to apologise to Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis following his comments last season.
Neville was denied access to the City Ground for Forest’s final game of the campaign against Chelsea on 25 May, with Sky Sports instead deciding to present the coverage from its London studio.
After receiving news of his access being denied, Neville said: “Personally, I think it’s disappointing that a great club like Nottingham Forest have been reduced to making such a decision.”

This article contains exclusive comment from Keith Wyness, former Everton, Aston Villa and Aberdeen CEO.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness said: “As I understand it right now, Marinakis has asked for Sky to give undertakings that Neville will not be saying similar things again.
“Gary Neville’s got himself into a bit of a difficult position because I think some of his comments were ill-advised about this situation last year and were proven to be incorrect in the way it appeared.
“I know how he could have made them because it looked like a certain thing at the start, but it didn’t quite work out that way when the facts came out.
“I think that it’s going to have to be Sky coming with Neville and saying ‘Look, we’re going to come and see you.
It doesn’t need to be.
“This is something that should be a storm in a teacup and I think Neville should apologise for what he said.”
