A generous LFC fan pledged a huge amount of money to a Liverpool food bank in an anonymous donation.

Anyone wanting to contribute to the Fans Supporting Foodbanks site can do so here.

Fans Supporting Foodbanks claim that the generous donation was left following a meeting with politicians and stakeholders.

The fan, calling themselves a "London Red", donated £10,000 to local service Fans Supporting Foodbanks.

The service, set up by local MP Ian Byrne, was formed by fans of both Liverpool and Everton to help support those in the community who have fallen on hard times.
