Julian Nagelsmann reportedly is expected to become the new manager of Germany, putting an end to any rumours Jurgen Klopp could be tempted to leave Liverpool. had been linked with the vacant managerial position of his home country after Hansi Flick was sacked on the back of a friendly defeat to Japan during the recent international break. The agent of the boss moved to shut down rumours of his client moving for his job, "Jurgen has a long-term contract with LFC and is not available for the national coaching position." It now appears Nagelsmann will be the figure in dugout for Die Mannschaft at next year's European Championship, having agreed to take the reins.
German outlet explained the 36-year-old will receive a salary of approximately €4million (£3.45m) up until the Euros for taking on this role. Nagelsmann had previously been in charge of Bayern, but was sacked by the Bundesliga giants at the end of March after a below-par season by the club's high standards.
Prior to this, Nagelsmann spent two years in charge of RB Leipzig and three years at Hoffenheim.
