Man City have undergone plenty of change this summer, with notable arrivals and departures shaping the squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Rayan Cherki, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Ait-Nouri have already joined Pep Guardiola’s side, while Football Insider revealed that Man City are also in the race to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma.

But departures have been just as significant, with Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish both moving on in a summer that marks the start of a new era for City.

Another surprising exit could be on the cards, with Savinho keen on a move to Tottenham following talks earlier this week.

Now, a fresh update has not gone down well with City supporters, with Tottenham remaining in talks over the winger.

According to Matt Barlow of the Daily Mail, Savinho’s representatives have flown in from Brazil in a bid to “secure the transfer” to Tottenham.

It is understood that the winger is keen on the switch as he does not want to remain a “fringe player”, particularly with the World Cup looming at the end of the season.

Savinho only joined Man City last summer from fellow City Football Group side Troyes after catching the eye on loan at Girona.

He quickly worked his way into Guardiola’s plans, featuring 48 times in all competitions last season.

However, just 21 of those appearances were starts, with the Brazilian often used as a rotation option.

He managed three goals across the campaign, but his limited game time now appears to have influenced his decision to push for a move.

City have already seen several departures this summer, but the Brazilian winger was not a player most expected to be on the chopping block.

Tottenham are reported to have tabled an offer of around £43 million for Savinho, though City are holding out for a fee closer to £60 million as talks continue between the two clubs.

Savinho had impressed many Man City supporters during his debut season, even forcing Grealish down the pecking order at times.

Yet, with the 21-year-old now pushing for a move away, the mood among fans has shifted dramatically.
