Luis Diaz's partner Gera Ponce has sparked speculation about the Colombian winger's future at Liverpool with a post on Instagram that many are interpreting as a farewell message.

Diaz has been a crucial player for manager Arne Slot, scoring 17 goals in 50 appearances last season, playing both on the left wing and centrally.

Diaz, who still has two years left on his Liverpool contract, has expressed his wish to stay at the club.

Yet, with Liverpool linked to German star Florian Wirtz and Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike, they may consider selling Diaz if a suitable offer is made.

Although Diaz liked the post, it doesn't necessarily signify his departure from Liverpool; it might simply be an acknowledgement of the support received.
