Leeds supporters have been going wild on social media after Switzerland striker Noah Okafor was confirmed as a new signing from AC Milan on Wednesday (21 August).
Daniel Farke has been after new forward signings following Leeds‘ promotion to the Premier League, and the club have now got another major capture over the line following Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s arrival at Elland Road on a free transfer.
Leeds were linked with a move for Okafor earlier in August, and AC Milan were believed to be anticipating an approach from the Whites for the 25-year-old to bolster their attacking options.
The Swiss international is capable of operating as a centre-forward or on either flank, but struggled to make much of an impact at the San Siro after a 2023 move from RB Salzburg.
He spent time out on loan at Napoli last season, helping them to the Serie A title, and has now arrived at Elland Road in the hope of aiding Leeds’ survival efforts in their first season back in the top-flight after two years away.

The Whites did get their Premier League campaign started with a 1-0 win against Everton on Monday (18 August) as summer signing Lukas Nmecha bagged the winner, but their attacking options have continually needed adding to all summer.

Okafor brings a wealth of experience to the South Yorkshire outfit despite his age, with 24 appearances and six goals in the Champions League, as well as 24 caps for his national team.
Leeds fans are clearly excited about the talent and potential he will bring to the club as they aim to stay up this season, with one reacting to the announcement by saying: “Probably going to win the league now,” while another replied: “Really excited about this one.
