Sunderland new signings Granit Xhaka and Marc Guiu were among those reacting after the club confirmed another addition to their squad.
The Black Cats have enjoyed a busy summer transfer window as they return to the Premier League for the first time in nine years.
They started the season in style, with Sunderland securing a 3-0 victory over West Ham at the Stadium of Light, with goals from Wilson Isidor, Eliezer Mayenda and Daniel Ballard.
Meanwhile, recruitment has been a key focus for the hierarchy, with the club adding several new faces this summer, including Simon Adingra, Habib Diarra and Xhaka arriving at Sunderland.
Their spending spree shows no signs of slowing down, with the club now announcing their 12th signing of the summer, generating plenty of excitement among players and supporters alike.

Sunderland confirmed on 17 August that they have completed the signing of French defender Nordi Mukiele from Paris Saint-Germain.
The club posted on Instagram: “Welcome to Sunderland AFC, Nordi Mukiele!
The defender moves to Wearside from Paris Saint-Germain for an undisclosed fee and signs a four-year contract.”

The announcement generated plenty of reaction, with Xhaka and Guiu both liking the post, as well as his former PSG teammates Bradley Barcola and Presnel Kimpembe.
Mukiele spent last season on loan at Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, alongside Xhaka, making 24 appearances as the club finished second in the league.
He previously enjoyed a four-season spell at RB Leipzig, racking up over 100 appearances and winning the DFB-Pokal in 2022 before joining PSG that summer.
During his time in Paris, Mukiele won five trophies but often found himself in a rotational role.
He now embarks on a new challenge in the Premier League with Sunderland.
Triantis could leave Sunderland.
The versatile 22-year-old, who can also play in midfield, spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Hibernian after making just one Championship appearance.
It is understood that several Championship clubs have also expressed interest, and with the new arrivals, Triantis is likely to fall further down the pecking order at Sunderland.
