“It’s hard to assess Ozan Kabak”, Aldridge wrote in his Liverpool Echo column.
John Aldridge has admitted it is hard to asses Ozan Kabak’s start to life In Liverpool as he has been thrown into the deep end from the very beginning.
The 20-year-old is tasting English football for the first time in his career and Liverpool legend Aldridge is of the view that it is hard to assess his start based on three league outings.
Following his deadline day arrival at Anfield on loan from Bundesliga outfit Schalke, Kabak has started three Premier League games for Liverpool, registering his first top flight clean sheet and win as the Reds beat Sheffield United 2-0 on Sunday.
Kabak lost his first two games in Liverpool colours, having come into a Reds squad struggling with a poor run of results and with key players out injured.
“He’s been thrown in at the deep end and it’s sink or swim.
Aldridge explained that Kabak has been thrown into the deep end without really having time to settle in as Jurgen Klopp had to play him due to his team’s injury woes.
