Harry Kane has revealed his stance on returning to Tottenham after inspiring Bayern Munich to a 4-0 victory over Werder Bremen on Friday.

As Thomas Frank vies to achieve long-term success in North London, Spurs are interested in re-signing Kane.

The 32-year-old has notched a stunning return of 10 goals and three assists in just five Bundesliga appearances this season, leading Bayern to the top of the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, Frank has revealed that he would like to see Kane return to Tottenham, where the striker could break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goalscoring record.

Kane haunted one of Tottenham’s Premier League rivals when he scored a brace in Bayern’s 3-1 win over Chelsea in the Champions League on 17 September.

Meanwhile, the striker’s double against Werder Bremen on 26 September saw him become the fastest player to reach 100 goals for a club in one of Europe’s top five leagues, achieving the feat in 104 games for Vincent Kompany’s men.

Speaking to the press about the possibility of a Tottenham return, Kane said: “No, I’m not thinking about a Premier League return at the moment.

Bayern is the best place to win trophies, absolutely.“

Kane’s sensational start to the Bundesliga season, with twice as many goals as league appearances, proves that he is capable of bettering his best-ever return in the German top flight of 36 goals.

Meanwhile, during the recent international break, the former Tottenham man scored as England thrashed Serbia 5-0 in a World Cup qualifier on 9 September.

The Three Lions desperately needed an emphatic result like that, having previously struggled in their summer fixtures, with an unconvincing win over Andorra and a 3-1 defeat to Senegal.

With the World Cup taking place at the end of the season, England boss Thomas Tuchel will be thrilled by Kane’s prolific form, which could inspire his nation to glory.

Meanwhile, Bayern’s summer signing Nicolas Jackson could start for Kompany’s side in their upcoming Champions League clash with Cypriot outfit Pafos, allowing Kane to have a rest.

The Bavarian giants will then need the England ace in top form when they face rivals Borussia Dortmund next month.
