Liverpool players were quick to respond on social media after another teammate confirmed their departure in what has been a summer of major change at Anfield.
It’s been a busy transfer window for the Reds, with the hierarchy determined to back Arne Slot following his remarkable, title-winning debut season.
Liverpool have signed the likes of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong, who have already arrived to strengthen the squad, but there have also been several key outgoings that have reshaped the team.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarell Quansah and Caoimhin Kelleher have all moved on, and Luis Diaz completed a switch to Bayern Munich just last week.
Now, another player has confirmed their exit from the club, marking yet another chapter in what has been a major rebuild under Slot this summer.

Another player to join the list of exits this summer is Tyler Morton, who has now confirmed he has left the Reds to join Lyon on a permanent deal.

It follows a report from Football Insider which revealed Morton was open to leaving Liverpool after finding senior opportunities limited under Slot.
He made just five appearances for the first team last season but impressed for the Under-21s, scoring three goals in five games.
The 22-year-old previously enjoyed loan spells at Blackburn and Hull, and was also part of the England U21 squad that won the European Championship earlier this summer.
Although West Ham had shown interest in signing Morton, Lyon moved quickest to secure the deal, believed to be worth around £15 million.

Despite Elliott showing public support for Morton’s move, his own future at the club is in doubt.
Football Insider revealed that Elliott is unhappy with his current role at Liverpool and is considering his options in search of more consistent first-team football.
A number of clubs are monitoring the situation, with Newcastle and Tottenham among those interested in Elliott this summer.
No final decision has been made, but the 22-year-old could yet follow Morton out of the door as Liverpool’s summer shake-up continues.
