Liverpool forward Harvey Elliott shared a heartfelt message to a teammate following their most recent pre-season fixture.
The Reds have been busy this summer as they aim to build on the momentum from Arne Slot’s debut title-winning season and carry that form into the new campaign.
The club have broken their transfer record after Liverpool signed Florian Wirtz, while also bringing in Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong to strengthen the squad.
Meanwhile, Elliott, who has been linked with a move away from Anfield, remains with the team during their pre-season tour and continues to feature under Slot.
Now, the England Under-21 international has shared a message of appreciation for a teammate following their standout performance in the latest friendly, further showcasing the unity within the squad ahead of the new season.

Elliott was among those impressed, sharing a picture of the pair celebrating on his Instagram story with the caption: “Young buck” and a heart emoji.
Ngumoha became the youngest player to start a first-team match in Liverpool’s history when he made his debut against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup last season, and he has continued to make an impression under Slot.
The 16-year-old joined Liverpool from Chelsea last summer and while that FA Cup outing was his only senior appearance last term, he made 26 appearances across the U18 and U21 sides, scoring twice and registering four assists in all competitions.
His progress has seen him included in the club’s pre-season tour, where he found the net against Yokohama FM and provided an assist in the win over AC Milan on 26 July.
While Elliott continues to be involved in pre-season and has shown support for Ngumoha, they may not remain teammates for long.
Football Insider revealed that Elliott is unhappy with his current role at Liverpool and is exploring options that would guarantee more regular first-team football.
Brighton are among the clubs interested, but they now face Premier League competition, with both Tottenham and Newcastle keen on securing Elliott’s signature.
The England Under-21 international is expected to make a decision on his future before the end of the window, with several clubs now circling.
