With Jurgen Klopp confirmed to be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, a number of Reds players could be forgiven if they were considering their own futures.

Out of contract in 2025, Virgil van Dijk has already admitted his own future at Anfield is uncertain ahead of a new manager’s appointment.

Mohamed Salah and Trent-Alexander Arnold’s own deals also expire next summer, with the former remaining the subject of big-money interest from Saudi Arabia, while the latter has recently been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Elsewhere in the Liverpool squad, Luis Diaz has been linked with moves to both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, while Andy Robertson was previously said to be reportedly attracting interest from Bayern Munich.

And while Caoimhin Kelleher is currently impressing in goal in the absence of the injured Alisson Becker, it would be no surprise if he looked to depart in the summer if he remains the Reds’ back-up goalkeeper.

Beyond transfer speculation, Thiago Alcantara, Joel Matip and Adrian are all expected to leave this summer when their own deals expire.

But one player who has committed his future to the club is Harvey Elliott.

The 20-year-old, who is a boyhood Reds fan, is living the dream at Anfield.

Joining the club as a 16-year-old from Fulham in July 2019, he has gone on to make 107 appearances for the club to date.

Making 41 appearances so far this season, returning three goals and six assists, he is just five outings away from matching his career-best total for a campaign.

And while he has started only 20 of his appearances this season, he is fully committed to Liverpool and is eyeing up a long career at the club, with further silverware after last month’s League Cup final win also firmly in his sights.

“It was a dream come true.
