Elliott has played just 14 of Liverpool’s 34 league matches this season and only on two occasions has he featured for longer than 30 minutes.
While the former Fulham man has had more impact in the cups - including three goals in the Champions League - Elliott has managed just one goal contribution in the Premier League.
The midfielder was linked with an exit in January bu t insisted after the Champions League win over Lille, a game he scored the winner in, that he has no plans to leave his boyhood club.
“This is my team, I am committed to them and it's just a situation that is always going to have a lot of talk, I just need to think about what is best for my future, my career and as much as I want it to be here.

On his lack of play time, Elliott added: “I think it's been a lot more difficult for me because I obviously had that injury at the start.
"But at the same time, you need to be here for the team, work as hard as you can and when the opportunities come on the pitch.
“A lot of times this season it's almost been [coming on] when we've been losing or drawing, so it is about trying to change the game, try and turn it around and have a positive impact
