It is exactly six years to the day that Liverpool signed Harvey Elliott but his time on Merseyside might be running out.
The Reds have been one of the busiest clubs in the transfer market this summer and spent over £300m, although some big stars will be sold to try and recoup some money.
Luis Diaz will be the latest player to depart after agreeing a move to Bayern Munich, and Harvey Elliott might not be too far behind as he is wanted by many top clubs.
The 22-year-old wants more game time and it is understandable after he received just two Premier League starts last season, with West Ham one of the clubs most keen on his signature.
However, although he deserves regular first-team football, fans will be desperate to see him stay, and he might still just do that as there is one dream that he is still yet to achieve.

After becoming the youngest player to feature in the Premier League at the time, doing so aged just 16 years and 30 days old, Liverpool were quick to snap Elliott up on the 28th July 2019.
He had to wait a year to sign his first professional contract due to his age, but once he had done that, he was ready to play a part in the club’s history.
And, in his very first interview with Liverpool, he outlined that he wanted to win the Champions League with the Reds, but he is still yet to do that, suggesting he must stay to fulfil a life-long dream.

“I think to go on to win everything and anything again, to be honest,” Elliott said to Liverpoolfc.com in his first-ever interview when being asked what his targets were.

“The players have shown that they can do that with the trophies that they’ve won this year.
I want to be part of the team in the next couple of years that’s going to go on to win a Champions League, going to go on to win a Premier League – I want to be a big part of that.”
At the time of his arrival, Liverpool had just beaten Tottenham Hotspur to win their sixth European Cup, meaning Elliott just missed out.
He came close to winning it in 2022, but Real Madrid got the better of them in the final and it means he is still yet to lift the trophy.
The Reds have recruited well and certainly brought in a lot of players, but with outgoings expected, Elliott still has a role to play.
With Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa all likely departing, he should get more chances than before, especially if they do not try to replace either of the wingers as they see the 22-year-old as their replacement.
As well as this, The Athletic reported that Liverpool are not actively looking to sell Elliott and will only do so if the right offer arrives, suggesting there is a good chance he stays given the Reds steep asking price.
Liverpool are willing to sell Elliott for £40m if a buy-back clause is included and, if not, £50m is their asking price, something West Ham will likely refuse to pay.
The super team Arne Slot is building is certainly something that should frighten the rest of Europe, and with this one of the best chances to win the competition again, Elliott might perhaps stick around just one more season.
