Harvey Elliott could be on his way out of Liverpool this summer after holding what have been described as “positive talks” with RB Leipzig.
The 22-year-old midfielder is reportedly open to the move after struggling for game time last season under new boss Arne Slot.
Elliott started only twice in the Premier League, and both appearances came after Liverpool had already sealed the title.
Despite his limited minutes — just 826 across all competitions — Elliott shone during the U21 European Championship in Slovakia, where he bagged five goals in six games and was named Player of the Tournament.
Why Liverpool should not sell Harvey Elliott as transfer value increased
It seems that summer form has not gone unnoticed.
But once that deal is done, attention is expected to turn quickly to Elliott.

Liverpool are not letting Elliott go without a solid return.
The club reportedly values him at £40 million — if a buy-back clause is included — or £50 million without one.
RB Leipzig views Elliott as the perfect replacement for Xavi Simons, who is reportedly close to joining Chelsea.
They believe Elliott’s creativity and eye for goal can fill the gap left by the Dutch playmaker.
The Reds signed Elliott from Fulham in 2019 for just £1.7 million.
Since then, he has won two Premier League titles and made over 80 appearances.
His time at Anfield may be ending, but if Leipzig seal the deal, it could be the start of a new chapter — and maybe a new league to run riot in.
