Harvey Elliott has shared his shock at the death of Diogo Jota as he paid tribute to his Liverpool team-mate.
Police said the accident happened at 12.30am when the Lamborghini the pair were travelling in veered off the road.

Liverpool released an official statement on Thursday morning (July 3) confirming the Portuguese’s death, with tributes continuing to flood in for the forward following his tragic passing.
Stefan Bajcetic was the first Reds star to react publicly to the shock news, with Darwin Nunez then also taking to social media to pay tribute to his team-mate.
Harvey Elliott has now joined the tributes to Jota after posting a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram story.

Posting a picture of him celebrating a goal with the Portuguese, the 22-year-old wrote: "Diogo, I can't believe you're gone.
It's hard to put into words how much this hurts us.
"You were an incredible footballer, the kind that made a difference every single time you stepped on the field.
"You were humble, hardworking, kind and always there for anyone that needed anything.
"I feel so lucky to have shared the pitch with you, shared memories and moments I'll carry with me forever.
"You'll always be part of this team, part of the Liverpool family.
