Harvey Elliott will reportedly be afforded a delayed return to pre-season training at Liverpool after his exploits in the under-21s European Championships.
The 22-year-old scored five goals in six games in Bratislava to help the Young Lions defend their European title.
Elliott was one of three Liverpool players involved in the triumph, with Jarell Quansah and Tyler Morton also named in Lee Carsley's squad for the finals.
Involvement in the tournament meant it was a tight turnaround for the trio, with England's opener against the Czech Republic taking place on June 12, less than three weeks after Liverpool's final Premier League game of the season.
The Premier League champions are set to reconvene at the AXA Training Centre next week to begin their pre-season programme.

However, Elliott and Morton will be afforded a couple of weeks off after their involvement in the European Championships.
In fact, The Athletic claims that the duo will not return to Kirkby until July 20, nearly two weeks after the rest of their peers.

As a result, the duo are likely to miss the Reds' first pre-season friendly of the summer, which takes place at Deepdale against Preston North End on July 13.
After taking on the Championship outfit, Liverpool will fly out to Asia for a pre-season tour of Hong Kong and Japan before taking on Crystal Palace in the Community Shield on August 10.
However, whether either player will be involved at Wembley in nearly six weeks' time remains to be seen, as they continue to be linked with moves away from Anfield.

Earlier this year, Brighton and Borussia Dortmund were credited with an interest in Elliott, while on Monday, The Times reported that Braga, Ajax and West Ham were all interested in signing Morton.
The ECHO has reported previously that Liverpool will look for bids north of £40million for Harvey Elliott.
