England legend Stuart Pearce has suggested that Harvey Elliott should make the move to West Ham this summer, with the Liverpool star considering his future at Anfield.
Elliott struggled for minutes in Arne Slot’s first season in charge, and he may well find opportunities even harder to come by next season with a deal for Florian Wirtz looking to be in the works.
With that in mind, Elliott has hinted he may choose to leave Liverpool in order to find more game time, with the England U21 international having already been linked with a host of clubs over the past year or so.

Borussia Dortmund has been touted as a possible destination, while Elliott was also suggested as a makeweight in the deal to bring Wirtz to Anfield, although recent reports in Germany have claimed Bayer Leverkusen is not considering the 22-year-old.
Pearce thinks there is an option closer to home for Elliott though, with the former West Ham coach suggesting a move to London could be the ideal fit.

Although Elliott has insisted he doesn’t want to leave Liverpool, he has dropped a few hints in recent weeks that he could consider an exit this summer.
"It's just a situation that me and the team have to have a conversation about because I'm coming into an age now where I'm 22, I'm going to be 23 next season," he said while away with England U21s this week.

If that's to go somewhere else, then it's a decision that I'm going to have to make and I just need to see what happens.
