Gary Neville has called out the three Liverpool players who aren’t good enough to fulfil the club’s attacking requirements – and a number of Reds supporters have reacted on Twitter.

Surprisingly, the overwhelming majority of fans agreed with the former Manchester United captain and Sky Sports pundit’s comments in the aftermath of the 0-0 draw at Anfield on Sunday.

Here’s how a selection of supporters reacted to Neville’s claims on Klopp’s current Liverpool attacking conundrum…

Still, it was certainly a surprise to see so many in agreement with Neville on such a key Liverpool issue.

Champions League final, winning the Champions League and almost getting to 100 points and then winning the league last season.

“The three players under that front three, Shaqiri, Minamino and Origi; they’re not good enough, so I’d say the main problem for Liverpool isn’t the front three.” So, although Neville isn’t worried about Liverpool’s attacking exploits long term, Klopp will be desperate to find a solution in quick time.

Whether or not this is the key to rediscovering Liverpool’s attacking potency, however, remains to be seen.
