Speaking on the Super Six Podcast, England legend Stuart Pearce has tipped reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham to make his mark at Euro 2020.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been included in England’s final squad for the tournament, and Pearce believes that he will have a big impact on the European stage.

Pearce was doing a mini-preview for the Euros, and he was asked to name a player he thinks everyone should have an eye on.

The former Nottingham Forest man named Bellingham as one to watch.

“I’m going to go with the player to watch, Jude Bellingham. I think he’s of an age where he won’t have any nerves. This tournament has fed into that. He was a pick where people were mentioning him but weren’t 100 per cent sure he’d make the squad. He’s displaced Jesse, he’s a similar type of player to Jesse, and I know how well Jesse has played. I just think he might roll into the tournament at his age without any nerves, and he might flourish and he’s impressed me in the last two friendlies as well,” Pearce said.

Bellingham has been making waves in the Bundesliga this season, but this is a real shot for him to prove himself on the biggest of stages.

The youngster has eyes on him from all over Europe, and Liverpool are bound to be watching his performances closely as they reportedly weigh up a move for him this summer.

If Bellingham shines at the Euros, Liverpool’s interest may become a lot more concrete, and while he’s already done it in Germany, this is a chance to truly prove himself against the world’s best.

As Pearce says, Bellingham is a man to keep an eye on.
