Liverpool have already found themselves rather busy in the summer transfer window with a fair few changes expected to be made at Anfield.
And, while speaking on the Libero Podcast, journalist Miguel Delaney gave his thoughts on the Sweden international’s future at Newcastle.
“He’s enjoying his time at Newcastle, but he’s getting to that point in his career where he doesn’t want to be part of something that’s growing,” he said.

“He wants to win the biggest trophies now and be in the Champions League absolutely every season.
“But, he’s not the sort of player to agitate and look for a move.”

The towering Swede has been a revelation for Newcastle since his arrival from Real Sociedad, with all the biggest names in Europe vying for his transfer.
And, with Wirtz set to be announced any time soon and Mohamed Salah likely leading the way for Liverpool once again next term, it’s hard to see a more inviting prospect for a striker.
Indeed, only time will tell what the future holds, but for now, Slot should keep his eyes on Isak, and if Liverpool can afford him, they must do everything they can to add him to their ranks.
