Mohamed Salah has enjoyed one of his best seasons yet at Liverpool, with Arne Slot’s tactics a key reason behind this level of performance.
Although Roy Keane has criticised Salah for dropping off since winning the Premier League, no Liverpool fan will be complaining about the winger’s form, with the Egyptian international a clear favourite for Premier League Player of the Season.

With Salah in with a chance of breaking the Premier League goal contribution record in Sunday’s finale against Crystal Palace, Liverpool fans will be hopeful that the forward can end the campaign with a flourish before lifting the league trophy.
And Arne Slot has now shared an exciting prediction about Salah heading into next season, where Liverpool will want to retain the Premier League title.

Speaking to the Athletic, the former Feyenoord manager has tipped Salah to achieve ‘even more special things’ at Liverpool next season having played a key role in leading the Reds to the Premier League title.
Having signed a new contract with Liverpool, Salah will want to spend the final years of his peak delivering more success for the Anfield club in the upcoming seasons, and Slot is confident that the winger can do just that.
Slot said when asked about the standards Salah has now set after this season at Liverpool: “Yeah and standards he’s probably not going to live up to in the upcoming two seasons.
I hope he can, but it’s not even necessary.

“Even if he scores and assists a few less, it will still be a great season.
But I know Mo, he’s going to try to achieve even more.
He’s going to work so hard every single day to do even more special things for this club.”
There’s a very real chance that Salah’s numbers will fall dramatically next season, with the winger enjoying a campaign that only a handful of players can match in terms of productivity when it comes to goals and assists.
Yet as Liverpool fans have seen over the last eight years, this does not mean that Salah will suddenly become a player who makes little impact.
Indeed, the opposite could be true going into the new season.
With new signings arriving and vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving, Salah’s influence as a leader at Liverpool will be even greater than before, and the 32-year-old will be seen as a voice to listen to in the dressing room for Slot next campaign.
