A dad is hoping a “wealthy Scouser” will want to buy his unique number plate.

Steve Callaghan, 55, purchased the private number plate ‘20 LFC’ a couple of years ago.

Steve knew the number plate would have future value for Liverpool supporters but primarily bought it for his daughter, Lottie Francis Callaghan.



There were jubilant celebrations across the city, none more so than inside the stadium itself which was a sea of red.

Steve anticipated the celebrations and decided to sell his number plate to a Liverpool fan.

She didn’t even have a car at the time, so I bought it with that in mind.

“I know (Liverpool winning the league) is going to be a huge thing, so from my point of view, it’s a good time to sell it.

Liverpool last won the title in 2020 and it’ll be their twentieth league title this year, so I thought it would resonate with people.”

When asked when he was going to sell the number plate, Steve said: “I think it was soon as as it became obvious Liverpool were real contenders for the title, which was really probably pre-Christmas, wasn't it?

“The writing was on the wall then.
