Liam Neeson has shared his love for Liverpool Football Club at the premiere of his new and upcoming movie, The Naked Gun.

The Northern Irish actor has spoken publicly about his support for the club on multiple occasions.

The Taken star even urged the club to extend Steven Gerrard's contract when he was leaving the club in 2015.

The 73-year-old has made several appearances at Anfield, often bringing his sons along too.

Liam was asked by TalkSPORT if he could "finally" put to rest what football club he supported.

Liverpool is one of the most successful clubs in the world and this is reflected by the millions across the globe who support the club every week.

The extensive history of success in domestic and European football has not only captured the hearts of local supporters over the decades, but many famous faces too.

The club has formed a strong connection with fans worldwide, including fans of the club who you would may not expect to have such a close bond to the Reds.

Many of the celebrities have spoken out about their love for the club previously, others have been pictured cheering on the team at Anfield.

In an interview on today’s Loose Women, GK Barry sat down with actress Pamela Anderson and Liam to discuss their careers and working with one another in their new film, The Naked Gun.

On being nervous before filming started, Pamela said to GK Barry: “Your nerves are always going before you meet an entire crew and everybody all at once, but especially meeting Liam.

“He’s had an amazing career and I feel like I’m just starting, so you feel a little insecure but then the butterflies go away and then, there you are.”

Asked if they did anything to ‘bond’ before playing their roles, Pamela replied: “Well we spent so much time together, a kind of natural chemistry happens.
