The 25-year-old underwent a medical on transfer deadline day before putting pen to paper on a six-year contract.
Liverpool had seen an initial £110m bid for Isak rejected in August, but persistence paid off as they finally landed their top target of the summer.
The long-running transfer saga ended on deadline day, with the Reds confirming the signing two and a half hours after the window officially closed.
He told Liverpoolfc.com after finalising his move: “I feel amazing.
“It’s been a long journey to get here.
But I’m super-happy to be a part of this team, this club and everything it stands for.
“It’s something I’m proud of and I’m really looking forward to it.
“I’m just happy it’s done and that I can get back to work.
I’m looking forward to seeing my teammates and the fans, and getting back out there.”
Isak added: “I think I have a lot to give, I think I have a lot to improve.
I’m a striker but I always want to give as much as possible to the team, mainly goals but much more than that as well.
“I want to win everything?
Yeah, [as simple as that].”
The Sweden international completed his first training session with his new Liverpool teammates on Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against Burnley.
Isak joined up with the Reds, fresh from international duty, where he was part of Sweden’s squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Kosovo.
Alexander Isak made a brief cameo for Sweden on Monday night, coming off the bench for the final 20 minutes in their 2-0 defeat to 10-man Kosovo.
According to The Times, Alexander Isak’s transfer fee will be paid in instalments over four years.
The former Real Sociedad forward scored 23 Premier League goals last season for Newcastle as they secured Champions League qualification.
