In midfield, Feyenoord's Mats Wieffer has been recently linked with a move to Anfield (via Fichajes).

Wieffer is a favorite of Slot's, and he could join the Dutch coach at Liverpool next season.

Yet considering Liverpool bought several midfielders last summer, it's unlikely that there'll be a massive revolution in the middle of the park.

In attack, Japan international Takefusa Kubo is being linked with a move to Anfield (via Sam C Reports).

Mohamed Salah's future remains uncertain despite a year left on his contract, but the Egyptian is likely to stay.
