With less than three weeks to go until the summer transfer window closes, Arne Slot looks to be putting the finishing touches to his squad for this season’s Premier League title defense.

It has already been a busy few months at Anfield, with nearly $400 million as the likes of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez have made the move to Merseyside, and more could still be on the way.

Kostas Tsimikas looks set to be the next player to make way, with the left-back having been left out of the squad at Wembley on Sunday as transfer interest intensifies.

Nottingham Forest has been linked with him this summer, as has Leeds United, but there are a number of Premier League teams and clubs overseas keen.

Harvey Elliott may also depart, with the England U21 international eager to get some guaranteed playing time as he eyes up a place in the Three Lions’ senior squad for next year’s World Cup.
