Liverpool Football Club has officially launched its highly anticipated new partnership with Adidas, marking a triumphant return to the iconic three stripes after more than a decade away from the German sportswear giant.
The new home shirt features a clean all-red colorway with crisp white Adidas three stripes down the sleeves and a modern crew neck collar?
It’s reminiscent of Liverpool’s 2006-07 kit, the first Adidas design after they replaced Reebok.

This marks the third time Liverpool will wear the three stripes, following previous partnerships from 1985-1996 and 2006-2012.
Fans will see the kits in action soon, with the men’s first team debuting the home kit during their pre-season double-header against Athletic Club at Anfield on August 4, and the away kit during the Community Shield against Crystal Palace on August 10.
Liverpool supporters celebrating the return of the iconic three stripes might want to get comfortable with the design – they’ll be seeing a lot more of it over the coming years.
The club has confirmed that they have penned a 10-year-deal with Adidas, making it the longest kit deals in the Premier League.
The German brand has already invested heavily in this reunion, not just financially but in terms of brand prestige.
Landing Liverpool after a 13-year absence represents a major coup, particularly given the competition from Nike and Puma during the tender process.
Ben Latty, chief commercial officer at LFC, said:
“This is more than just the launch of a new kit – it marks the beginning of a 10-year relationship for LFC and adidas.”
“Since announcing the partnership in March, there’s been a huge sense of anticipation and excitement.”
“This first collection sets the tone for seasons to come.”
