Bayern Munich are ready to bring Luis Diaz to Bavaria this summer, and are willing to bump up their offer.
The German giants initial €67.5 million offer was rebuffed by the Premier League champions.
The 28-year-old Colombian, under contract at Anfield until 2027, has reportedly informed Liverpool of his desire to join Bayern ahead of the 2025-26 season.
He is said to regard the Allianz Arena as his preferred destination with Barcelona no longer an option for him.
With just 24 months left on his deal, Díaz could enter the final year of his contract next season, which would weaken Liverpool’s negotiating power?

The 28-year-old enjoyed his most prolific campaign in red—netting 13 Premier League goals—yet his Anfield future is now in doubt.
Although the club insists it wants to retain its key talents, a sale remains on the table.
Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Max Eberl, has held several rounds of discussions with Díaz’s representatives.
Having already missed out on targets like Florian Wirtz and Nico Williams this summer, Bayern are increasingly determined to secure the Colombian winger.
German outlet BILD report that both clubs are now “optimistic” an agreement can be reached with the German champions willing to pay €75m:
“According to information from SPORT BILD, Liverpool and Bayern are optimistic that there will be an agreement for Luis Diaz!” it is reported.
“At the weekend, the Bavarians learned that Liverpool should be ready to talk.”
“Bayern are ready to pay €75m.”
“The last offer, which Liverpool rejected, was 67 million euros.”
The report adds that Bayern Munich have already agreed personal terms on a four-year contract valued at approximately €14 million gross per season.
This would mean that the Colombian would net an extra € 2.7m per year at the Allianz Arena.
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has also corroborated the report to an extent, with the Italian reporting that “Bayern’s new proposal for Luis Diaz expected soon, as player opened doors to the move.”
