According to the Athletic, Liverpool made £181.5m from winning the Premier League title this season, with the Reds securing the largest amount of prize money from their first-place finish in the English top-flight.
With Liverpool set to spend a club-record fee to sign Wirtz, the prize money acquired from winning the Premier League will go a long way in helping the Merseyside giants invest in the playing squad, with Milos Kerkez also a top target for the Reds.

Indeed, with Jamie Carragher claiming Liverpool need six new signings, the Reds are seemingly making good on the former defender’s wishes, with the prize money won from the Premier League set to go a long way in making these deals possible.
And with the transfer window opening this week with three signings already in the pipeline, Liverpool could be one of the busiest clubs in the market, with the Reds ready to spend big to build a squad that can compete for everything next season.
Liverpool working fast to sign a new right-back, attacking midfielder and left-back before the market has even opened is nothing short of impressive, with full focus already on next season with a game plan being executed as we speak.
Yet as most Liverpool fans know, more needs to be added to the squad than the three aforementioned positions, with a striker a big priority for the Reds as well as a young central defender who can act as a versatile option across the backline.
