After impressing during England’s 3-1 opener against the Czech Republic, Elliott was unable to unlock the door this time around, with the Slovenian defence holding firm.
The Three Lions will have to be on their A-game if they are to overcome the Old Enemy, with fans no doubt hoping Elliott can improve on his Slovenian showing.

With Elliott likely to leave Liverpool this summer, the midfielder’s performance in Slovakia would have done him no favours at all.
Despite Elliott picking up the player of the match accolade, many fans and media outlets weren’t as impressed with his performance.
