Arsenal face Newcastle United on Sunday(Image: PA)
Arsenal take on Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday in a Premier League six-pointer.
The Gunners, who currently sit second in the league standings, will hope for a strong finish to their 2024/25 campaign, after missing out on the title to Liverpool at the end of April.
Mikel Arteta's men have chased the Reds for the better part of the season with hopes of lifting their first EPL title in more than two decades, but it simply wasn't meant to be north London's year - as Liverpool won the league with four games to spare at the end of April with a 5-1 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur.
Second place is the best finish that the Gunners can now hope for, with games against a contending Newcastle and a relegated Southampton to solidify their runners' up status.

In stark contrast, the Magpies head into the fray unbeaten in their last three outings, securing comfortable wins over Ipswich Town and Chelsea, while holding Brighton to a draw.
While Newcastle are already qualified for the UEFA Conference League next season thanks to their League Cup win over Liverpool in March, they will hope to upgrade that to a Champions League spot by finishing in the top five.
The fixture comes as just one of five games taking place across the day, with Everton hosting Southampton, West Ham facing Nottingham Forest, Brentford taking on Fulham and Leicester pitted off with Ipswich.

While the brunt of the Premier League game week is traditionally played on a Saturday, Crystal Palace's FA Cup final with Manchester City saw games moved to Friday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday respectively.
For those who haven't got a seat at the Emirates Stadium, then Arsenal's clash with Newcastle will be shown live on Sky Sports Premier League from 4.15pm onward.
The game will also be shown through the Sky Sports app as well as NOW TV.
Elsewhere, Sky Sports Premier League will also show West Ham's earlier clash with Nottingham at the London Stadium, which kicks off at 2.15pm.
