European champion PSG will open its Club World Cup campaign against Atletico Madrid later today in a clash of the titans at the start of the group phase.

The tournament kicked off with a goalless draw between Saudi Arabian outfit Al Ahly and Major League Soccer (MLS) side Inter Miami, while Bayern Munich takes on Auckland today at 5pm UK time (12pm ET).

PSG vs Atletico Madrid then takes place after that, starting at 8pm UK time (3pm ET).

The third game of the day is Palmeiras vs FC Porto, with each of those fixtures in different groups.

The game between PSG and Atletico Madrid could be one of the best fixtures of the group phase.
