Nottingham Forest players shared their reactions after a teammate confirmed their official departure.

Nottingham Forest have seen plenty of changes over the last few weeks after the end of the summer window, with the most notable being Ange Postecoglou replacing Nuno Espirito Santo.

Nuno was vocal in his disappointment with the club’s transfer activity, but the summer still saw them bring in significant reinforcements

Forest broke their transfer record to sign Omari Hutchinson whilst also signing the likes of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Dan Ndoye and James McAtee, among others.

In turn, the club have also had to balance the books, with Anthony Elanga signing for Newcastle while the club successfully fended off Tottenham’s interest in Morgan Gibbs-White by threatening legal action.

However, exits have continued to be announced with a departing player confirming their move away.

He saw plenty of reaction to his message, with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Murillo and Ryan Yates all liking the announcement.

Forest fans shared their disappointment with Silva’s departure, with the winger proving to be a key player of the squad during Nuno’s tenure.

The 26-year-old winger scored four goals and produced two assists in 37 appearances across all competitions last term, providing a useful option across the frontline.

He joins Besiktas on loan for the rest of the season, but the Turkish giants have an option to buy in the deal to make it permanent.

While Silva has shared his thoughts following his exit from Forest, another player who has been recently linked with a departure is Elliot Anderson.

However, Football Insider revealed on 12 September that Postecoglou does not want to lose Anderson, and the club are unlikely to entertain offers.

Plenty of clubs such as Man United, are eyeing the 22-year-old after his remarkable rise at the club and impressive showing during the international break.

With the Englishman under contract until 2029, Forest hold a strong position and are determined to keep him at the City Ground despite mounting interest.
