Liverpool transfer target Hugo Ekitike has reacted to reports about him flying to Merseyside to complete a medical ahead of his £79m transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Arne Slot's side looks to have its seventh new face joining them this summer if all goes to plan.
The Reds will pay £69m up front and on top of that potentially a further £10m in add-ons, meanwhile the 23-year-old himself has settled on personal terms for a six-year contract at Liverpool.
He will be the first forward to sign for the club this summer, supplemented by the creative talent of midfielder Florian Wirtz plus flying full-backs Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez.
The ECHO then reported earlier on Tuesday, July 22, how Ekitike has flown into London with his agent, Karl Mwalako, to undergo his medical to finalise his move.

Fabrizio Romano also shared the news to his social media channels with his Instagram post grabbing attention.
He wrote: "BREAKING: Hugo Ekitike has landed in Liverpool as €95m signing arrives on Merseyside!
"Here’s Hugo with his agent Karl Mwalako ahead of first part of medical tests today, signing a six year contract.

The post received over 500,000 likes, at the time of writing, and one of them looks to have come from the account of Ekitike himself.
Eintracht Frankfurt had confirmed on Monday, July 21, that the Frenchman was one of several players who were not part of Dino Toppmoller's travelling squad to the United States for a pre-season tour because they had been 'released for talks with other clubs'.

Their statement read: "Junior Dina Ebimbe, Aurelio Buta, Hrvoje Smolcic, Mo Dahoud and Hugo Ekitike have been released for talks with other clubs and will not travel to the training camp."
Once his medical tests are finished and the transfer is signed and sealed, the striker is set to depart for Hong Kong, where he will find head coach Slot and his new Liverpool teammates on their pre-season tour of the Far East.
The existing Reds made the journey themselves just days ago and have matches against AC Milan (July 26) and Yokohama FM (July 30) to help prepare for the upcoming campaign.
