Liverpool forward Hugo Ekitike has sent an x-rated message to Jeremie Frimpong after the Reds' Community Shield defeat to Crystal Palace.
Arne Slot failed to earn a winners' medal at Wembley for the second time in his tenure after a penalty shootout loss to their Premier League rivals.
The Reds twice led in the capital with the Frenchman opening his account for the club after four minutes.
Frimpong's deft cross-cum-shot restored their lead in the first-half after Jean-Philippe Mateta restored parity after Virgil van Dijk was penalised for a foul in the penalty area.
Liverpool were lacklustre in the second-half and relinquished their lead in the dying embers with Ismaila Sarr continuing his hot-streak against the Premier League champions, before Oliver Glasner's side kept their nerve from 12 yards.

It was a historic day for both Ekitike and Frimpong as they opened their accounts for the club following their moves from Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen.
Despite the disappointment, there was pride for the Dutchman and he took to Instagram, he posted: "Disappointed with the result but we go again.
"Happy with my first goal in a Liverpool shirt."
Ekitike was among those to share support and comment, the 23-year-old replied: "Put that s*** on."
The former Frankfurt and Paris Saint-Germain talisman sparked discussions after netting a superb goal on his competitive debut.
Ekitike wheeled off mimicking a talking gesture but the reasoning behind the celebration remains unclear with various factions drawing their own conclusions.
One theory was that it was in response to the ongoing speculation surrounding Alexander Isak and Liverpool's interest in the Sweden international.
Meanwhile, some argue that it was in response to the critics after he snubbed Newcastle United for the Reds in a deal worth a reported £79million.
Speaking after the defeat in the Community Shield, Van Dijk said: "It's never easy coming from a different country and I think he's settled in really well.

"With his goal, it was good to see, it was important and hopefully many more to come.
The Liverpool captain added: "Well, we just lost Darwin, he went to Saudi and we lost Lucho (Luis Diaz), obviously he went to Bayern (Munich).
"I think there's always room for an attacker in order to strengthen us, so let's see what the window brings in terms of the balance of the team."
