Liverpool transfer target Hugo Ekitike has taken to social media as he closes in on a move to the Reds.
The ECHO reported on Sunday that Arne Slot's side are closing in on the French striker as they put the finishing touches on a bid that they hope is sufficient for Eintracht Frankfurt to accept.
The Premier League champions are hopeful of reaching a compromise in the region of €90 million (£78m), with the Bundesliga club demanding around €100m (£86m).
The ECHO understands that the finer details of the latest proposal, including the structure of the add-ons, could be completed on Sunday.
Ekitike has already expressed his willingness to join Liverpool and personal terms had already been agreed going into the weekend.

The 23-year-old was left out of the Eintracht Frankfurt squad that won 3-2 in their pre-season friendly against FSV Frankfurt on Saturday.
Despite his omission from the preparations for the forthcoming Bundesliga campaign, Ekitike was active on social media and shared a picture on Instagram sharing a laugh with his Frankfurt teammate.
And he was among those to like the Instagram post from the club account celebrating their pre-season triumph, showing his true character amid a time of immense speculation and upheavel for the France Under-21 strike.
However, Frankfurt head coach Dino Toppmoller hinted that the future may lie elsewhere for Ekitike.
"He didn't play, but you can imagine everything else," said the head coach via Sky Sports Germany.
"This is a bitter loss.
"We lost our absolute top player in the winter with Omar Marmoush.
"The other player stepped in and developed sensationally.
It's quite possible that that's history, too.
